XVII. ročník tradičnej priateľskej koštovky 2016
civic association: Vinci, association of vintners and winemakers in Modra with headquarters: Sládkovičova. 44, Modra aj tento rok organizovalo už XVII. year of studies traditional friendly koštovky named „Svätokatarínska ochutnávku mladých vín ročníka 2016″.
Our association was the first in Slovakia to come up with the mentioned tradition of tasting young wines, thereby establishing the tradition of tasting young wines before their official launch on the market, where, in a friendly atmosphere, professional and amateur winemakers from Modra and the surrounding area will mutually praise and evaluate their young wines.
Why St. Catherine's young wines? Especially for the reason, že koncom novembra si už vieme predegustovať prvé slovenské mladé biele a ružové vínka, which are already removed from the yeast and clarified and that's it, that fans of this delicious juice will be able to enjoy their captivating aroma and fresh acidity typical of the Small Carpathian varieties, which were collected in the months of September and October.
How is young wine categorized in accordance with Act no. 313/2009 Z. with. about viticulture and winemaking?
Label wine with words “young wine” maybe a wine with a protected designation of origin, if the wine is filled into consumer packaging by the end of the calendar year at the latest, in which the grapes used to make this wine were harvested. Such wine can be put on the market at the earliest on the first Monday of November of the grape harvest year.
Už tradičné podujatie sa uskutočnilo v piatok 02. December. 2016 so začiatkom o 16.30 hod v Kultúrnom dome Ľudovíta Štúra na Sokolskej ul č. 8 in Blue with the following program: V úvode vystúpil predseda spolku Vincúr Vincent Jakubec, ktorý uvítal hostí a prítomných vinárov a vinohradníkov. Následne vystúpil s hodnotením vinohradníckeho roku 2016 z pohľadu klimatického a meteorologického Ing. Vladimír Sodoma. Požehnanie vín tento rok bolo za účasti evanjelického kňaza Mgr. Jána Oslíka. Následne sa už konala priateľská degustácia prinesených vzoriek, ich zhodnocovanie prítomnými vinármi a vinohradníkmi a návštevníkmi z radov občanov. Ako aj po iné roky mali všetky Katky, Catherine, Katušky vstup na toto podujatie zdarma. Tradícia ochutnávok mladých vín bude v Modre pokračovať a už teraz sa tešíme, že sa opäť stretneme na Svätokatarínskej ochutnávke mladých vín aj nasledujúcom v roku 2017.
